I received the CUTEST doggie pajamas today in the mail! My friend Fern from Flickr (say that 5 times fast) sent them to Shea. They were custom made to fit her & they fit perfect. Shea doesn't like wearing clothes but she seems to be ok with these pajamas. They fit around her arms and legs well & go right up the the armpit, they are also nice & thin. A lot of the shirts & jackets I've gotten in the store would hang a bit in the armpit & would annoy her as she walks, they would also be too bulky. These are so cute & Shea will be wearing them all the time!

I kept forgetting to blog about this great purchase from www.Crochetdad.etsy.com....
I've been looking for a crocheted winter hat for a while & I couldn't find any I like so I searched etsy for one. I came across one from CrochetDad I liked a lot but it was a bit too small for my big head. I convo'd him to ask if he could make me a custom order & I gave him my measurements. I also asked him to make me a matching neck warmer. A few days later my custom order arrived! I love it! Check out his shop!

While shopping on Etsy.com for a scarf I came across this cute neck warmer from cherylboberyl. I hate all that bulk under my jacket so a neck warmer would be perfect. I love it! It's so soft & warm. Etsy shop Dottral

One lady you need to check out is Dottyral. She has everything set up so nice, from her photos, shop, blog...!
She is one of my contacts on flickr Dottyral. I really enjoy looking at her photos & reading their descriptions. First off, the pictures are taken very well--bright & clear. I like the customer appreciation set, it's nice to see what customers do with your items & vice verse. She is a very talented crafter--she does crocheting, pin cushions, buttons, jewelry, accessories & so many other things. Check out her photos, you'll see what I mean. I just bought a ring pin cushion made with a really pretty "black & white ironwork" pattern, can't wait till it comes!
You also need to check out Dottyral's Blog. She features other great etsy shops & updates about her shop. One of the reasons I love etsy so much is its community. I love that etsians help each other out instead of competing with each other, and you will find this love at Dotty's blog. I know the next thing I plan to buy from her is this crocheted hat, one of my favorite colors too!

Update: I received my pin cushion ring & it is awesome! I use the really long pins & the ring has metal at the base which prevents the pins from going thru. This ring is very well made & is super cute! I love it! Thanks Dotty!

I just received this really cool item from Monster Promos. It's a custom made licensed plate frame with my shop's banner on the top & the URL on the bottom. I choose to have my website http://www.jtstitches.com/ because is has all my sites in one place & it's easier to remember. I plan to take a picture of it on my car but for now this is what I have, not a great picture but the frame looks awesome!

To get a better view go HERE. I think it came out really good. The web URL is real easy to read too--it will be a great advertisement while sitting at all the lights on the NYC streets. If you're looking for any promotional items check out their shop. They shipped really fast & I got this really cool bumper sticker for free!

I met this wonderful person "Julia" in the etsy forums. The forum was for trading & she contacted me about trading for one of my tote bags. I saw that she does web designs so I asked if she would redo my amateurish web page & make it look good as a trade for the bag she liked. Well she agreed & redid my page, take a look at how great it looks http://jensscrubsnstuff.com/ (it really looks like this http://geocities.com/jen4t25 but my web host has terrible templates I have to use so it altered it a bit). She went above & beyond my expectations, especially in customer service. When I tell you she spent the entire day working with me, I'm not exaggerating (my web host was the problem & she was trying to help me with it). I just told her what I had in mind & she put it all together but 100 times better. I really love the work she did & if you are looking for someone to do a web design, she is your person.
